A&Q about 350Z

I have a 2003 350z. Took the car to the dealer when the tire issue became evident. I was told the car was 3 months too old to be covered. Two weeks ago, I rec'd a letter saying the coverage was extended with a proration based on the tread depth remaining. The dealer measured from the inside of the tire, where there is no tread rather than the middle, where the tire looks new. Shad Branson at the Nissan 800 number is not returning my calls, thanks Nissan
After 1 week of no return calls, I called back and demanded to speek to a supervisor. He took my complaint and said he would foreward it to a special group of people who deal with the wheel complaints and they would get back to me in two days. It has been four business days and again no one has returned my call. What is the matter with these people?

Or you could do what i did:
fill out your lemon law paper work and send it certified mail to nissan nna.

the bulletin for the tires is very specific about how to measure the tires. they are supposed to measure on the edge. but were i am we dont really give anyone a hard time. its just wasted energy. ill be getting my tires this winter.

Call 1 800 LEMON-LAW. They will take your case as soon as you say "350Z", or at least they did for me. You are correct, Nissan is not standing behind the 03 and 04 Z. Frankly, if I were them, I wouldn't either. Good luck, those Mustangs, Vettes and Chargers are looking better all the time.

i experienced the same problems with my o4' z as z no more
5 brake jobs
replaced axels
power window replaced
and nissan consumer affairs does not do anything to help and the service depts' can't fix the problem and you would figure that with this many problems of having to bring the car in for service so much they would give a loaner out due to so many problems as good customer service but that is not the case
