Not only is it lighter than the stock pulley but it is smaller in diameter and that drives the accessories slower giving you more power.

I know on Z32s the UD pulleys are a good performance mod but are not balanced like the stock pulley and over time can cause engine damage. Not sure about Z33 apps.

No counter weights on the crank pulley

well i had it installed today as well as my rear noise click addessed. turns out the rear noise is covered under a tsb for the axle bolts coming loose. they ordered some nuts etc which are on back order to fix the problem. the pulley doesn't seem to have made any noticable increase however when driving back from the dealer i was playing with my mpg meter and i was getting unusally good mileage. at one point 30mpg at 71mph. i was quite busy today and didn't really get a good chance to race around so i really can't counclude the perfomance increase as of yet.

Underdrive pulleys simply restore paracytic power loss to the drive train. You know, stuff like power steering, power brakes. Underdrives are bigger than stock units, and therefore require less effort from the engine to spin the axillary units. We’re talking better than 5HP to keep your power steering and brakes working.
