Recieved my letter so I guess I am good until I hit 36,000 miles or 11- 06 whichever is later according to the letter.
I haven't seen the problem return. But, I also do not have the new tire tread either. So, who knows at this point.
Nice to know I am good to 36,000 miles. That will take me to at least 11-06 to put on my car. ;)
As soon as I am comfortable, I'm going to go with other tires etc ... anyways. Probably before 36,000 miles. So, Nissan will not have to cover me as long as others it looks like.
At least we have something in writting now !!!

Well, I re-read my letter and is says that "Nissan is further extending the warranty for alignment to 36 months or October 31, 2005 (whichever comes later), and unlimited mileage for all 2003 models, and to 36 months and unlimited miles for all 2004 350Z models."
I don't know if the letters are different, but it definitely didn't say 36,000 miles on the one I got.
So I was right.

I don't know where I was earlier this morning. There's not one single mention of 36,000 miles in the letter.
I apologize for my hubris.
It's been something of a day for yours truly. Lots of stuff running through my head, and there's only so much room on the old hard drive these days.

I have an 04 and I changed front tires and did an alignment at dealrship in june. I also talked to Nissan and they said it wasnt covered. Do you think I can get reimbursed for it now?
A:
Man, you have to learn to show some power to dealers. You have the letter from Nissan, go to the dealer and tell them to honor it. If they don't, call Nissan from your cell on the dealer showroom to complain about the dealer. Sometimes you have to make a show.

Don't believe anythin Nissan tells you. Note the proration based on tire tread depth. I called the Nissan 800 number and Shad Branson told me I was covered and call back if I have any problems. I took it to the dealer and they measured the tread from the inside of the tire (not the outside or the middle of the tire where they look new) then told me I would have to pay 100% of the repair. Now this Shad Branson does not return my calls. Don't by Nissan, they are a small company pretending to care!!!!!! BUY HONDA
