new rims

A&Q about 350Z
Q:

Hey, I'm in the process of looking for new rims for my Z and haven't really come across anything too appealing. I'm a visual person and I need to physically see how it would look on my car. I've been to the websites that offer rims and can superimpose the rims on my car, but it still looks cheesy. Any of you guys have any suggestions? Maybe some photos of your car photos with rims? I don't want to spend more than $1800 bucks. I have 17"s now, but really want 19"s, but 18"s is probably the most affordable for me. Any thoughts?

Thanks

My advice is any aftermarket rims would look cheesy on your car. I learned that last year when I was looking for a set myself and I came across nothing that I would put on my Z, so I went with chrome stock 18" and love them. For $1800 bucks there are not that many selections that I would pick.

not much out there for 1800 and is that including tires or just 1800 for rims? either way your best bet for real pics would be to find a wheel you like and then go to a site like my350z.com and do a search. Or just google it. Some brands i would reccomend in your price range that make decent looking wheels for the Z are ADR(m-sports look great and they're cheap) Axis(milano, se7en, hiro), kazera(Nismo-esq wheel) TSW, enkei etc. etc.

this is a good starting point for real pics

I'm a big fan for Axis Milano...if & when I ever do decide to change. Good Luck!

My SB ZR still feels like HEAVEN....what a wild ride!

I also have a rim question. I was looking at some piaa rims and I found some on their website with real pictures of 350's wearing them. The only thing is I dont know what offset to get for the staggered look. Any ideas?
