The noise in my rear, from what the tech said, is a loose a axle barring. What could have caused this? Again, it is a weird sound that knocks as the wheels turn.

It is not that the beraings are loose. It is that they are defective and unable to withstand the stress caused by all the torque the 350Z puts out. Mine were changed in the furst year under the TSB.
