For those of you who have installed your own audio/security wiring, whats the best way to route some wires through the firewall? I've been going over the service manual and its not great for locations.
I've found a large wire gromet to the right of the brake and just above the steering column. Is there much extra space in this?
If you've got a good place to tap 12V for accessory power I'd like to hear about it too. Thanks.

Thanks for the response, that's exactly what I was looking for. I found that gromet on the harness diagram since I posted, but I haven't had a good look at the car yet.
Now I just need to figure out power and where to mount the on/off switch I need.
PS. No I'm not a pirate, its just a nickname I got while playing a networked dogfight sim in University.
