A&Q about 350Z
Q:
Got my 05 Z a few weeks ago and I noticed that after getting out of the car with the windows completely up, and closing both passenger and driver side doors that the windows on both sides move up by a millimeter of two. Is this normal or a defect in the window? The windows functions fine when I'm in the vehicle - thanks!

If you look on the purchase sticker, it includes something like "tight-seal windows". They roll down a little when you open the door and then back up once you closed the door.

Most cars have this feature. Windows will roll down when you open the door and roll back up all the way when you close it. It prevents damage to the glass, when opening/closing the door.

Also to note that they are actually supposed to roll down about 10mm or so (can't remember the exact number) but many owners have had problems with this only rolling down 1 mm or so, or not at all.. There are some TSBs out about the window regulator problem... you can look on www.infinitihelp.com. Go the the nissan section and look for Bulletins.

Check out page 2-39. Your car should have been delivered with one of these manuals. If not, you should return to your dealer and insist it provide you one.
