Look at the passenger side of the hatch. See how the edge of the glass is different from the driver's side? Maybe to get the wiper out of sight? Must have been an early prototype that was abandoned.
I'd have to agree with the decision. I love how the A pillar transforms from vertical to horizontal and sweeps back into the hatch.

When you pre-ordered, that's all you had - photos. When somebody found a new one, it was announced here, and we all charged over to whatever site to look. I've had this one for some time now, and it's still on the Nissan site.
