right out of the pages of autoweek. Theres an new article where they test the Cayman and not surprisingly it gets a really good review. What does this have to do with the Z? Im tired of reading posts from people who say the Z isnt fast enough and this and that, usually from whining owners, trolls, Z32 ers, etc. etc. Of course Id like more power but that isnt all there is to a car. You guys know damn well the cayman is going to sell and sell well, and will be an awesome car to drive. Just because the 0-60 time is only 5.4 isnt the end all. Theres soo much more to a car than just raw power and porsche knows it and knows people will be willing to drop 60K to drive one.

The Germans usually underestimate their cars speed and HP. As much as I love Porsches their prices are out of this world. I still say for the money, style, performance etc. the Z is fantastic.

don't get me wrong... the power in the Z is fantastic... but it's just my reference to have just a little more power... around 350 to 400... i like the pull off the line with that amount...

Actually, most Porsches are not generally unreliable. So far my 300zx has been in the shop way more than my (former) 28 year old 911.

NHZ - You got that right. Guys, Porsches are hard to keep on the road running right. I always had mine in the shop for repairs. I bought it brand new as a pleasure car. There wasn't much pleasure in it. Between broken parts that Porsche wouldn't cover, to warranty work, to jelious people keying the car or hitting it. After the first year ..... it was gone.
Same went for my friend with a Boxster. Gone after a year. Too much trouble. Don't forget people target these cars. They think you are a rich son of a b!tc# if you drive one and do all sorts of weird things.
They think you are some starbuck's coffee drinking wiener.

On the other hand, people that drive Z's are really cool !!!!! LOL !!!!!
I have had many Z's since then and have loved everyone of them. Even my 177K used 300zxt had less problems.
Once you have a Porsche you'll never go back....... to Porsche that is.
The cost for parts alone kills ya. Buy a/another house with the money you save and enjoy trouble free driving.
