That I am not sure, I have seen our 17 inch wheels both in chrome and some have powder coated them black even.
Let us know what you find out.
On the bright side if you mess them up the sets of 17 inch wheels are way cheap.

I was looking for polished ones last year when I bought my chrome set and no luck. I agree I do love the look of polished lot more than chrome. Idon't know of any place that would do polish or do exchange. If you find them please let me know too.

I might buy a rim off ebay to experiment on before I do it to my rims.
I could probably get one for real cheap if it has been curbed. ;)
I will repost after I find out / experiment. It may be some time.
