A&Q about 350Z
Q:
I have a 2005 350z enthusiast w/ auto. transmission and am pretty new to doing modifications and performance upgrades. So far, I have installed a K&N Typhoon Intake, Kinetix Plenum, Grounding Kit and will be getting an Injen SES Exhaust in next week. I was also looking at Stillen Stainless Steel Headers, Crawford High Flow Catalytic Converters, and Eibach Springs (to lower 1"). I was wondering what all can be done to an automatic 350z for performance without really affecting reliabilty? Also, are there any objections to the upgrades I have already mentioned?
A:
those are all good upgrades, but it's a lot of money spent for very little performance gain.

I haven't heard of any problems with mods to a 350 with an automatic transmission.
The 350z's auto is bullet proof!

3.5 final drive is one of the best mods you can do to your A/T Z. You will not gain any HP but your Z will jump out quicker. This will be my next mod once I get enough $s saved. Cost is around $500 for the parts (full pumpkin + VLSD) and around $200 for install (labor).
