In my previous Topic i found out i bought a PERFORMANCE MODEL 350Z ..
Thx for the help.
I need to know a few things so i can get to know the car...
1) what does VDC do?
2) why everytime i turn my fan on, the ac turns on automatically?

VDC is Vehicle Dynamic Control. It is a combination of traction control and stability control. Some models only have traction control, except for the base model which doesn't have either.
The AC comes on automatically unless you turn the AC off manually.

ya know... I wish i had a manual.. hahaha it might be in the glove compartment... EVEN THOUGH I CANT FIND THE GLOVE COMPARTMENT LOL...

damn, talk about an impulse buy...hahaa. big glove compartment is behind the passenger seat. theres two other small cubby's behind the passenger and driver as well.

to apply braking and control throttle to get you out of trouble. It's a neat thing to have, and it can be turned off if you want to hang it out a bit.
The fan/AC bit is just one of those things designed into the HVAC. You just need to remember to push the dial immediately to turn off the AC. Give it a day and you'll do it without thinking.

If you are out on the twisites, doing autox, etc, you might want to consider turning the VDC off. Maunal will of course tell you how. As you toss the car back and forth going through turns, the VDC will think you are out of control, thus compensate via brakes, etc to bring the car back into control = smoking brakes after a long, hard twisty run.
When cruising around town, leave it on since that's when some clown will force you into some manuever to dodge them and you'll be happy the VDC was there to help you maintain control when you were least expecting it.
