It is a bolt on, you have to drill 4 new holes. I also taped it with 3m tape.
The instructions sucked because they act as though you can drill 4 holes through the decklid and attach the screws to the spoiler. However they don't mention the fact that you may have to remove additional metal on the inside between the outside and inside layer of decklid. And the holes on the inside will have to be made larger to acomidate the washer or you need much longer screws. Bottom line is the manufactur should move the threaded inserts on the wing to a more convienent location to dril into your decklid. And make the instruction exclusively for this car, not generic.

Solidus let me ask you this:
if you stick (glue) on a spoiler, in other words use ONLY glue... how long can you expect the spoiler to stay on?
especially with AVERAGE 70mph wind running across it nearly every day...
bolting IMO is the ONLY option for mounting kits and spoilers... do what you must but if you don't go that route you just might be losing your investment to the road sometime in the future...
BTW... Looks good 1Z... from that picture i don't see any gouge or scratch so i think it did well...

Ever seen the movie "The Big Lebowski?" A great movie; it's about guys just being guys. It has brilliant dialogue; subtle humor at times, outrageous at others.
