Roadster for 45 Grand??

A&Q about 350Z
Q:

I'm thinking about maybe buying a 06 roadster late this year or early next year and I was on nissan web site checking prices with different options and came up with $44,710 for a fully loaded 05 and tax is not even included in that price. Don't you guys think that's way too much. with tax I'll be looking at little over 47 G's. That's crazy.

I got my fully loaded (except navigation) Touring Roadster in 04 for $36,500, and I know of others who did even better.

A:

this is off topic but did they get the feathering problem fixed for the 06 models?

$46K for a 350Z, be it roadster or not that is way over priced.

it's a 350 with a rag top no difference in performance.tell them to get bent! thats outrageous for a Z.just go with the hard top the Z is just not worth that much.hell you can get a track for 34,500 atleast you'll have the brembo's.good luck!

Z's are like woman maintenance,maintenance,maintenance!

MSRP for Grand Touring Roadster starts at 39.3K. Add a few options and 45K is easy to reach.

A:

The Grand Touring model is a cross between a Track and a Touring model.

Zcrazi 45k is a lot of cash!

I know it is. I can deal with 34 or 36 G's maximum.

See if you can get fleet pricing through Costco (which I did, $1,500 over invoice) or a credit union, etc. You'll piss off the salesperson, but they will have to honor it or lose your business.

I just bought a 2005 Roadster for my wife and paid $100 over invoice. Invoice was $34,600 and that included destination. I did not get a nav system or 18 inch wheels.

A:

That's a resonable price. I assume you went with auto trans. I think I will go with the manual so the price will be slightly higher. I decided to go without any of those options so the price wont be so ridiculously high.

No, it was a 6speed.
I just made the dealer buff/wheel out all the scratches in the car. I made a list of 12 spots that need attention. I will get the car back on Monday afternoon.
