this morning when i was driving to my house i saw a purple evo with black rims and some graphics on the doors... well to make a long story short.....................,.,,,,,,,..///''']][[[]'//., i raced his A>S>S> on the highway doing 145mph i was surprised the z cant take such a powerfull take off at high speed.. it was great... the ******* on the evo thought he was the **** cause his car has more torque than horsepower.... but once again the z took the winning laugh.... than we stop and he burn some tire while we were stop on a red light..... and i took off the tcs and took off again on his evo A>S>S...... and continued my way to work by the way it usually takes me 30min to get to work and today it only took me 10min.....

I of course own a 350Z, and am no troll...but i give credit where credit is due and i respect the Evo for what it is. It's pretty apparent that the kid in the evo couldnt drive...or else he would have smoked you.

You said the evo smoked (spun) his tires at a stop? Do EVO's have the ability to disengage their AWD?
If not, how did he smoke his tires unless he's putting insane HP to the ground? And if he is, how did you beat him? It just sounds a bit fishy...

i was thinking NO SH1T i just stole it.... but then decided to just do what he asked... i really wanted to get home after 14hours of work...
but i've heard it's double the speed limit and your going to the cooler...

a friend of mine did 122mph in his 325i on the I5 and got his licence revoked for 2 months, no jail though.
btw, an evo, when in boost, is a killer car, i daresay faster than the z, stock for stock. i guess an analogy is the s2000 when kept above 6500rpm.

bf = boyfriend - I know what you guys were thinking....same, butt different.
I just wish thing were like when I was a kid again running the highways at 150mph. The most the cops would do is pull you over and give you a ticket for like 80mph. No jail, No big ticket, just a speeding ticket. Things have changed and there are a lot more cars on the road so I understand. It doesn't mean I have to like it though.
Back to the topic:
EVO's aren't so bad .... as is STI but it reminds me of the old 510 Datsuns.
Guys would buy these cause they couldn't afford a Z and fix them up.
Now I think 510's if they are fixed up are a cool car. Expecially if they are turbo'd. They actually seem to be going for more than the older Z's lately.
Anyways, I just can't see myself in a EVO or STI. I own a sedan and it is for work, family, and long trips. I just don't see EVO / STI fitting that same lux need I have in a sedan.
The way I looked at it is if I wanted to bet a STI I could have Turbo'd the 350Z Base I bought to take care of them. However, why bother when you have one of these:
