GuyZ, I quit my dumb job today. Out of anger towards my boss. I have been due for a raise for sometime now, she has been blowing me off. Furthermore, she just hired some crackhead and is payine him more than me and half of the people that have been working with the company for years like me. Again, I looked at his paycheck today and found that he is making alot more than me and others.
I told the company I was done, and sick of the lies and bullshit.
AHHH, working in the restuarant business sucks!
LUckly I am moving to Florida next month.
Just waiting on my strosek kit to arrive, and then I am heading down south.
Anyone from Florida on here?

Hey this is very interesting, I almost quit mine too, for the same reasons, almost. Well, I'm way over due for a raise and just tired of saving lazy people's ass all the time. and my boss never sees that. I am in the same business as well and I hear you, restuarant business sucks ass. Which part of florida planning to move. I like to move there too but my wife can't now because of her job.

MS, obviously you're right about solidus. But I want to applaud solidus for two things: He's enthusiastic, and never rude. I've visited a few different message boards over the years, and I'm always apalled at how quick people are to flame each other and write mean things just because they feel anonymous on the Net. Solidus continually gets slammed by people on this board, and yet he always takes it in stride.
So what if solidus is immature and clueless about the world? Aren't we all in one way or another? The very fact that we're all glued to this message board, spending precious time reading messages and posting replies based on some flashy car, just goes to show that none of us have exactly reached the pinnacle of rational behavior.
And so what if he's spoiled rotten? He's obviously enjoying some of the advantages that he's lucky enough to have, and he's probably dealing with hardships that none of us know about. Solidus will probably (hopefully) grow and learn over the years, and realize truths like the need for a good education, a stable career, frugality, etc. But I doubt he came to this board to get lectured about how immature he is.
Solidus: keep loving your Z, and keep your positive attitude, no matter what.

thanks guyZ, I am immature, I know. I am trying to grow up (seriously) I cannot help that my family is middle class and I am fortunate to have nice things.
I thank the lord everyday for what I have and my mother for being so supportive of me. I am lucky enough to pursue my dream job.

Not more than 4 months ago there was an incident at my work...
(BTW i WAS an Operation Supervisor at an International Airline Ground Handling Service) for you all that want to check it out...

...anyway there was a hazardous material spill that costed the company $40,000 and the sup(ervisor) responsible had no consequences...
BUT!!! when i simply miss my management training class... because they tell me the address with no directions and no class start time... it costs my department $500 and i get demoted to a shift lead...
I've been with the company for 3 years... my constant dedication and excellent work has been noticed only a few times... which doesn't bother me much, cause i'm not driven by instant gratification... but when you do nothing but give your 100% to what you do just to be spit on when you make a small mistake... that bugs me... my believe to this reason is that majority of the sups and managers are people that are 30+ in age... and here i am 19 and in their same position... BUT i earned my way up there!!! there was NO shortcuts!!! and no easy way other than to catch on quick and not only do the job but do it BETTER!!!
i dunno... whatever... ok i'm done venting...
and MS: where i work there's this evil organization they call the Union... these idiots not only do a good job keeping people that don't do their job in the company but also have the nerve to govern your raises... so in a short story... like i said i have 3 years with the company but since your pay is governed by senority... and i went into management then came back out... i lost my Union senority so now i get paid like a new hire but they get Supervisor quality work... isn't that some BS!?!?!? i turned my resignation in... but they called me back... and i only excepted b/c i gotta pay my car note somehow...

Thank you solidus. I have a son that is seeking what he wants to do with his life and your fullsail may be it.
Z's look great, a real eye turner, but they are far from the fastest
thing on the road and keeping them in tires, etc, can sure put a dent in your wallet or run up a credit card.
I read over and over about the feathering issue. My "03" with 23k has started to roar again at about 30mph. My question is do they present a danger this way or just a nuisance like the grease on the windows?

I was asked to come back. I am working again only till the 20th of july and then packing the u haul. Furthermore, then its off to Florida. A little settling inn, and getting to know the area, and then I have FullSail orientation on the 25th of August.
