I have an automatic 03 Z and i wanna change the shift knob to the 04 knob. I tried with the 04 knob and it doesn't fit right and it sticks up too high. Do I need to change the whole shifter? If so, where can I get the shifter, how much, and how long to replace. Thank you

I think the '04 shoud fit! Here's a link to an easy DIY. If you want to change the knob to a different style I would recommend the "automatic" MOMO knob. I showed a pic in the thread. LTB Motorsport had very good pricing. There is also a boot available if you would want one! I never did change mine....yet!!!

The momo shift knob looks good and all but I already got the 04 shift knob and I'm trying to fit it on my 03 but it doesn't fit. Can anyone please help me out on how to install the 04 shift knob into the 03 z...
