I had good results with Centerforce-II pressure plate and tilton aluminum
flywheel in my Turbo 260Z. Not ready for 350 yet. Engine really revs up quick.

I just installed a JWT clutch and lightened flywheel and its nice. No more chatter but its really loud at idle with the clutch disengaged. But it grabs hard in every gear no matter what and its cheaper than Nismo and the flywheel is lighter that Nismo's too. JWT is 14lbs, Nismo is 21lbs and stock is 28lbs.

Thanks for the help, everybody.

Diggler (cool name BTW),

I saw that the JWT clutch sells for $420. That sounds great, but am I missing something? When you get the stock clutch replaced it costs $1800 and the price for that aftermarket clutch seems really cheap.

Here's the link I was looking at:

Would I also need a flywheel and friction plate? Please forgive my ignorance- I'm still learning. :)

thanks again.

You will have to buy both pieces at the same time. That is why it is so much to replace at the dealership. The OEM clutch is only like $300 but the OEM flywheel is over $900 which is rediculous. That is why I went with the JWT setup. Better performance and price. Another bonus is that when it comes time to replace the clutch that is all you have to do. The JWT flywheel comes with a detatchable friction plate so you dont have to buy a new flywheel.
