Cause there's no such thing as a perfectly good 350.

Sorry, had to. But, yes, putting a VG30 in a 350 would be retarded and probably never work.

That's a VG30DETT. If you could fit it in, you're off to 500+ HP.

Not a big fan of those timing belts. Ever changed one?
Have fun.
(Really like the body of the Z32 though). Pssssst.
Love our 350 so far.

Nice, but I'd rather just buy a 300Zxtt with that engine in it already.

Yeah, it would be awesome to see a new car run like old or an old car run like new. I could, but I won't.

For the cost of the swap you could easily put a built 350 motor with a twin turbo setup and easily exceed the performance of the 300 motor.

500 whp was reached on the VQ350 a lot faster than it was on the VG300 and as the tuning knowledge of this motor matures, the HP numbers are just going to continue to climb.

A:

i thinks its a cool idea. a VG in the 350 could probably be made to fit and i think it would be similar in price to what it would cost to build up a VQ to a point that it could handle 15lbs+ of boost. the cost of two turbo's and IC(s) for a VQ alone would run just under what you could pick up a VG30DETT for.

OBJECTS IN MIRROR ARE LOSING

94' emerald green TT 5speed
JWT ECU, boost jets (14psi), RPS Max clutch
one-peice aluminium driveshaft, test pipes
drilled brembo rotors, adjustable KYB gas struts
front/rear strut tower bars, JWT intake
APEXi BOV's

A:

Now we'll never know.
