BMW 540, the "5" tells you it's a five series...are you still following this, ok
the "40" tells you the "5" series engine displacement, a four liter, kind of like our "350" is a 3.5 liter engine. If you're out racing cars (which is stupid in the first place) that you don't know what they have, you're dumber than your posts indicate. Pendejo!
