are you asking whether the 17's have feathering? If so, welcome to 2 years ago, of course they have feathering. they arent any different than the 18's.

Now at 6500 miles, no sign of feathering on my '03 with 17s.

The rim size and tire size do not matter if you have had the cupping problem.
There hasn't been an alignment performed on my car to solve this problem now after 28k miles and four sets of front tires.
I still love this car and will not sell it!
