Camber in front right tire

A&Q about 350Z
Q:

alright i need to put camber in my race car becuase i keep blowing up my front right..how do u do camber?..do you drill holes into the strut?..
A:

No holes in strut! Your dillema would be better recified with a F-body chassis brace. It will tie the front and rear sub-frames in the unibody together, resulting in less torsional twisting in the car. In higher power 'stangs with good grip (10" slicks, slapper bars) twist in the car puts alot of lateral -sideways- force on the front tires, which could be scrubbing them to death. If yer using drag shocks in front, the front wheels droop, accentuating this. I would't worry about yer camber. There's probably some negative camber built in, which is fine for a drag car.
Good luck!!

Sorry, i shoulda been more specific, i race a weekly circle asphalt track, i have a 3.1 liter V6 cutlass supreme 92'..maybe that helps
A:

If the tire is accually going flat, your camber isnt the issue.. your tire is rubbing something.
A:

My tire isnt just going flat,it is blowing right up from the stress through the turns and plus i already cut the wheel well to give the wheel more room to move
A:

then camber probably wont change it much if you're putting too much stress on it. get better tyres.
A:

Well I wouldnt say its the tires, the damn thing blew up in 20 laps and it was barely used. This class you use stock tires also
A:

then it's not wear. if they're stock tyres they're propbably not designed to be put through 20 laps of hard cornering. it could be that the car's too heavy for that tyre and that stress level.
A:

Camber will acually put more stress on the tire. Get better tires like the drunken englishman suggested.
A:

well im running a 15" 205 i think, what do u suggest?
A:

Well that doesnt really tell us anything, thats not even a complete measurement...
A:

It still may not be enough room. Make sure it has enough room to move at both full turning lock and at full suspension travel.
A:

what profile? High profile tires will cause more sidewall flexure which could lead to problems (but low profile tires aren't the gods of cornering people make them out to be either)
A:

Alright thanks for all the info
A:

actually, i don't drink.
