After paying professionals to do leakdown tests on various cars of mine over the years,I would like to learn how to do this procedure and know what equipment I need to buy.Can anybody help me out?

There are several sites on the net that have this info.
What this last article does NOT mention is to listen at the intake throttle valve, ehaust and crankcase oil filler to get a hint of what component (if any) is leaking excessively; wither the intake valve, exhaust valve or rings.
