I was wondering if anyone could help me with some pointers, websites etc. I have a 1995 grand prix that the 3.4 engine was past the point of reincarnation. I purchased another 3.4 grand prix engine or so I thought and it was actually out of a 1992 lumina 3.4 it fit in the compartment fine with the acception of a few minor setbacks with wiring harnesses from the grand prix engine. I got it to turn over the other night but it was rough turning over. I tried last night and it turned over harder than before. Like the compression was off. I followed all the guidelines per chiltons and haynes but it still won't run. the cam pulleys I had a diagram on and for some reason I think its off. Anyway I'll leave it at that can this engine from the 92 lumina work in the 95 grand prix?
Please help...

It should be OBD1. I assume we're talking the DOHC?
