A&Q about 350Z
Q:
On my Plymouth Laser, the belt that runs the alternator broke and within five minutes of that, the headlights wouldn't go down. They had worked perfectly before that. Any ideas what has caused it?
The person who installed the alternator forgot to disconnect the battery, and at one point, a spark came from the alternator towards a metal wrench. That may have done something, but the problem didn't seem to occur until right after the belt broke.
A:
Um... did you put a new belt on it? If not you probably dont have enough power in the battery to make them go back down.
First things first, check your fuses.
A:
not having a generator fueling your electrical system caused your battery to weaken and now it probably doesnt have enough juice to work your headlight motors.... put a new belt on it and charge your battery
