engine running without exhaust

A&Q about 350Z
Q:

Yes, Throttle responce is a lot better with gasoline engines, i dont know if its simply because enigne speed is controlled by injection so therfore the engine has to gradually accelerate or if its because of the difference in flame front between gasoline and diesle.

However when tlaking abotu drag racing, when you are on WOT all the time, diesles are amazing. Find me a gasoline vehicle that runs 15's or 16's stock and can run 11's or 12's with stock internals and bottom end and and often stock tranny and rear end with nothing more than some minor modifications, propane injection, and some time on a programer and ill do a happy dance.

However, id never take a diesle truck through the twisties....thats a waste of french fry grease

A Fast and Furious 86 HP E30, with enough Orville Redenbacher decals to pump it to 1,000 HP?
C'mon, your Hillbilly roots are really starting to show through now..
Seriously 'tho, if you were to show up, I don't know whether I'd collapse with laughter, or just giggle myself to death. I might as well just give up right now.
Gotta hand it to you, I woulda' never realized it was all possible. You diesel guys are truly "living the dream".

Actually, I was referring to an E30 with a 4.2L MWM diesel putting 460 hp and 600 lb-ft to the ground. No dream, an oil-bathed reality *twinkle-twinkle*

Just out of curiosity, checked your website, you don't own one. You seem like more of a full-size-sedan-Detroit-man (I can respect that).
But if you ever happen to pick one up, drop by this summer. Assuming no volcanic eruption interruptions
, we'll get you on forest road 25 (Randal to Couger) around mount St. Helens. A twisty little road with hairpin turns, steep inclines, etc. I assume the few gas stations out there all have the correct bunker oil that you use. If not, you can pop up some popcorn so it'll smell right.
If real roads bore you, we have a local road race track, Pacific Raceways. Been there before, so I know which way the turns go.
Don't worry, the little Lotus and I, (which I do own) will show you the way around in either event. *wink-wink*
You, being the gentleman and all-around nice guy, can pay the track rental.
I'll buy the beer.
If you don't feel up to doing any of this, well that's OK too. It was fun making you scream for mercy in this thread anyway.
Cheers.

You're such a delightful prick

I have no comeback for that. I sold the E30, and the guy who has the MWM E30 that I spoke of has moved to Maryland, so I have nothing with which to compete

you win
