I just got my bumper painted today. Since then, my tail lights flicker off and on (along with the icon in the display panel)......and no matter what drive I am in, the Reverse is lit up as if I was in reverse. The check engine light recently came on too. The guy at the shop said he has no idea. He said he didnt even unhook the battery.
Is this a sensor problem, bad wiring, or what? Thanks

IMO they're liars.
Is this your back bumper??
I bet they removed the tail lights......its quicker to do so than to mask them off, and then they damaged a wiring harness or a light socket, causing a poor connection or a short.
I suspect its not a big deal to repair it; the problem is finding the defect first.
