Is It Ok to Speed Up An Idle.?

A&Q about 350Z
Q:

Maybe i should have asked this before i did it :-(

Heres the way my car used to be,

rpms in Park, 750

rpms in Reverse 500 or lower

rpms in Drive (foot on brake) 600

My car (95 4.6 V8 tbird) always was very slow in reverse, you put it in revers, and it would hardly move unless you gas it. Now, it's much better. I gave the screw at the throttle a full turn, to bring me at 100rpms more all ways (park/reverse/drive etc) and it feels better.

Is it ok that i did this..? Any possible damage that can occur from having the car idle (in park) at 850 instead of 750..?

PS, before i would put my car in drive, and no foot on the gas my car would hardly move. Now it cruises slowly, which i want. When put in reverse, the rpms would go just under 500, now it's at 600.

Between this, and cleaning my intake/maf sensor/throttle plate my car is much more responsive.

there is no big deal with it having it 100 rpm more just you will redline alittle quicker. my mom's '97 saturn SL2 idles at 1,200 rpm with no problems. Iam not sure why you would want to speed up your idle but it wont do anything to it unless your idling at like 5k rpm.
