A&Q about 350Z
Q:
my '98 dodge avenger is having some probs. when i start it in the morning, it continues to stall out on me unless i give it gas and wait there until it is warmed up. it also sometimes has a rough idle when i am at stoplights, etc.!! any suggestions on where to turn?
A:
check your IAC solenoid, make sure it moves freely and the passige is not clogged. then test the ECT

I too would suggest checking/cleaning the IAC Valve.
Maybe a bad MAT Sensor if you have one. But I doubt it. Good Luck
A:
coolant temp sensor is where I'd look first.

i bought some throttle valve cleaner, and opened up the throttle body and sprayed it out. it worked fine for the rest of the day, running very smoothly. but, this morning when i started it back up again, it stalled and had a rough idle again. the guy at autozone said to spray it in there daily until the can was gone, and it should be fine. we'll see. i'm going to try to look at some of the methods you all have said as well. thanks for the replys.
