A&Q about 350Z
Q:
I understand this is a common problem with these Jeeps, that the cooling fan wont come on. Its been replaced, along with the rad. cap, thermostat, and coolant. I tried resetting all the fuses but to no avail. Can anyone help me out here to fix this problem?
A:
Possably a bad relay or temp sensor. Turn your ac on max and see if it kicks on.
A:
whether its a 4.0 or a 4.7L, both have a mechanical fan driven by the engine. They both use a thermostatic clutch to drive the fan. The clutch might be bad.
THe electric fan is only for the AC and has nothing to do with the radiator/cooling system.
A:
ah, I thought the four cylinder ones had eliminated the clutch fan and went to all electric. My mistake.
A:
there was no 4 cylinder option with a grand cherokee, but of course, as always, it would be helpful if the person asking the question would actually mention the motor
A:
Could have swore my friend cherokee had a four... guess these paint fumes are killing my brain cells again.
A:
grand cherokee's are the "deluxe" cherokee's, they never came with a 4 cylinder. The regular cherokee's did though. Some years.
