A&Q about 350Z
Q:
i have a '75 Pontiac Le Mans 350 i put in a '80 toyota. pretty much i put the stock motor in after putting new piston rings, gaskets, honing out cylinders and reaming the ridges, putting a new cam and lifters in, and port and polishing the heads. now that it is all in i try to run it and it is not firing on the #1 cylinder. I have a new distributor cap, wires, condensor, plugs, and cant figure out why the first one isn't firing. also the timing is good. any input would help
A:
check for vacuum leak-do a leak down test on #1
A:
how do you do that?
A:
lol let it be. my 73 c-10 with a 350 had a flat cam lobe on the number one cylinder that caused backfiring at w.o.t. so it actually was quicker with the number one cylinder not firing
