Tire pressure gauge

A&Q about 350Z
Q:

I'm not really sure where to put this, but this forum seemed like my best option...
After accidently stepping on my cheap plastic tire gauge today (one of the ones where the reading slides out of the tube) I decided that I should probably do good now, and spend my money on a quality gauge that I can have for awhile (I don't really mind spending the money if I know that I will get the quality, same way I feel about buying any tool really). Does anybody have any suggestions into brands, and if I really am getting a more accurate gauge if I spend $130 as opposed to $30? (Those were the two extremes on the Moroso line of gauges that I looked at).
Thanks in advance.

Damn dude, You can get a good quality tire gauge for around $15-20, if your not racing (and seriously racing) your not going to need a $130 pressure gauge.

A cheap steal pen style guage is all you need.

I remember a rep from a tyre company coming around with a very expensive super accurate tyre gauge and useing it as an exuce to push his brand of tyres.
All that come out of it was the reaslisation that his guage was no more acurate than even cheap plastic ones.
You only need to be accurate to the nearest PSI, and you don't need anything flash to do that.

The tube type are sometimes not so accurate. After a while dust and dirt can get into the sliding part and mess with the accuracy.
A $15-20 dial type is probably the best bet.
