A&Q about 350Z
Q:
Ok, just got a new Hyundai Elantra, have only had it a few months, so far no problems... has around 2500 miles on it... yes, only 2500.
Ok, so, driving around today, all of a sudden I noticed that at low speeds, when I turn the steering wheel, I get a rather loud "thump" sound from the front wheels... sounds more like the passenger side wheel.
The sound is like when you drop a book on a floor... just kind of a "thump".
Sometimes there is a slight amount of vibration, other times there isnt.
Also, it doesnt always do it, but more often then not... generally three times during a turn.
At high speeds I hear nothing.
I cant get it in to the shop for a few days and wanted to know what anyone might think? I mean, 2500 miles... btw, it happens when the car is sitting still in park too, not only when rolling.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Something is loose. It will need to be looked at. Try not to drive it because depending on what is loose it could be very dangerous.

I'm with public. On a car that new, there's some part of the suspension not assembled correctly, and it could be very serious.
Nice Avatar, Public!
