A&Q about 350Z
Q:
Guys, I've gotten myself into one hell of a predicament.
Both of my rear valve stem caps are stuck to beat the band. I cannot break those little buggers loose to save my life. I don't need to right now - my tires are inflated fine, but sometime when I'm going to want to remove them, I won't be able to. I've tried using wrenches / pliers, ect., but I always end up just twisting the valve stem itself, and if I hold it while I turn the top, the rubber just twists anyways, and I'm afraid I might split it. Any suggestions? Thanks a ton

Are they plastic or metal? Try heating them up with a lighter or a propane torch with a very low flame before turning. Just a bit of heat should be all thats required.
A:
Thanks - They're metal with a rubber ring inside. Are you sure it won't melt the rubber inside or the rubbber on my valve stem?
A:
Well, the idea is to use a very small amount of heat. Try a disposable lighter first.

Ok thanks - I'll give it a go this weekend

Whenever I have a problem like this, I get out the Dremel tool and cut them off.
A:
Yep, works every time. Just make sure you cut the valve cap straight up the side. It will almost fall off.
