A&Q about 350Z
Q:
i have a 2004 ford crown vic sport and ive noticed that the car is alot louder than my moms 02 base model. the sport only has about 8,900 miles on it. i was wondering if the exhaust system in the 04 sport is different from the regular ones used on the crown vics ( not just the fact that its dual exhaust) should it be this loud ? is there any thing i could do to get a more aggressive exhaust note out of it ? i was thinking about getting this ford high flow muffler for the crown victoria from this site
would it make any difference in the sound ?
A:
yes, that muffler, or any high performance muffler (you can get 2 flowmasters or dynomax mufflers for alot less than $329) will make the car louder.
A:
can you give me a link to those mufflers not the site because ive visited both and i couldnt find what i needed when i looked for them. it seems as though dynomax doesnt make mufflers for any thign newer than 92 crown vics and i couldnt even tell what to get through flowmaster. i dont really care about performance gain im not going to be racing this car or any thing i just want an aggressive exhaust sound.
A:
mufflers are generic, you just need to find out your piping diameter, piping offset, and case length, then you can clamp it in or have it welded in.
Any good crown vic board should have this information.
