Is there any way we could state which companies
cover mods as well? The reason I say this is because I just took out
insurance with Privilege went to them to say I wanted to lower the car
a bit and they said they wouldn't cover mods for under 25s... This also
came after someone else posted about other underwriters not covering
mods (can't remember which). I think it would save people time when
ringing around...

I haven't told Direct Line about any of my mods, but I really think I ought to when I come to renew the insurance.
Can anyone recommend a good company who will insure me and my
modifications cheaply? I'm 22 but have not had insurance in my own name
yet - no NCB.
