We had a MOT guy in testing a newly qualified MOT tester, the guy pulls up the manger
apparently he wasn't happy with the slight tint on front windows on the 1.8T beetle I was working on
not only was it close to being too dark, I was informed I must not take it out on a test drive. he then proceeded for the customer to be informed it should be removed immediately , guess what after a chat with MOT guy he said ok rip them off
have you ever heard of anything so annoying, pity we have to keep him happy

Sounds pedantic, but could you tell if they were OTT dark, since there are some tinting rules IIRC?

Manual from the dealer, where it says how to do the boot lock.
