Reckon I need you guys to help me understand all the different kinds of BBS RM and RS rims?
Scroll about half-way down and these peeps got a nice selection [anyone used justmatz?]. I think I like the RS design more that the RS, but at the end of the day they both soooo hot! I see you can get 15-17in [reckon the 15s would be my choice due to cost and that no work would need to be done to the arches?], but what about width and dish sizes etc, what would you guys recommend?
Also, I love the gold centre of that RS rim, what colour Mk2 do you reckon that would suit? I also love that RM rim with the polished dish and BBS cap [oh the choices ]
Then there's the colour and style of the BBS cap to decide on!!!!! Any pics would be good peeps

You can only get 15" BBS RM012 alloys. Factory standard on G60 Edition Ones/Ltd and optional on other models.
The BBS RS001 comes in 15" and there is a different model which comes in 16" for 4 stud. The 17" BBS RS301 is a 5 stud wheel only.
BBS RMs can be had cheap when needing a refurb. They are 2 piece alloys. BBS RS are always expensive. They are 3 piece alloys.
Both can look equally nice.
If i was building another set id be looking at stainless outer rims. Especailly if they are upto Radinox (schmidt) outer quality. Ultra tough and durable. Id also look at chrome flat cap centers. I dont personally like gold coloured baskets on the split rims, doesnt really suit the Mk2. Silver, black and certain colour coded centers work well.

There's some debate over whether fitting radinox rims is a good idea. You are more likely to damage the actual wheel rather than just the rim if you stack it into a kerb.

Ha, but then what would be the point of stainless outers? Kerbing? Learn to park :p

Absolutely, what kind of fool kerbs alloys? Also, the ability to run them through winter and not worry about totally ruined outers is one advantage, although too much of a pita to clean for me.

They can only be purchased 2nd hand. No longer manufactured in that specification.
