I was just wondering if anyone knows of the standard spec of a 1990 16v GTI? Were electric windows an option rather than standard that year? I take it power steering was included but what about a sunroof? And what about rims, central locking etc? If anyone got a list, that would be wicked.

I've owned two 1989 F reg valvers, and both had central locking an electric windows. Power steering was always an option on the mk2 AFAIK. Both had a steel slide back sunroof. 1989/1990 was the main changover year, but tthey messed with wheel sizes and styles a few times, and also the interior pattern on my current 1989 valver is different to that of my old one.

This is an IIRC, not 100% sure on the spec, but i think its right.
