iv ordered my Mk5 edition 30 due to me around end feb but dont know when to get red of my mk3 16v and also what it is worth i would prefire to like pre sell it before my new one turns up so it's got time to go to good home and if you have ever bought a new car from vdub you know there dates are somtimes abit out it give you the spec of the mk3 for a value

You reckon its better to sell a car now, when people are spending on xmas presents etc, rather than sort of february time? I'm gonna be looking to sell mine, but thought perhaps after xmas would be better??

Now would be better. Everybody spends all their money before x-mas and then spends about 2 months after it living on a budget due to overspending.
I wouldnt bother trying to sell it until you have your new car. Then just give it an almighty clean/polish and take it somewhere nice to take some pictures. Whack it up on auto-trader and it will sell quick enough
