A&Q about 350Z
Q:
Hi there everyone,
I am new to this forum as you may have noticed .
First abit about myself - I always been a big VDub fan
use to be in club GTI Member no 8000. And I have had 4 GOLF
GTI 's each one of them a fantastic car in its own right. Fist of all
I had a mars red GTI Mk1 1600. Then I bought a MY90 Black
GTI 8v I remember when I bought it 96 it only had 41lk on the
clock, then I bought my best car I have ever owned even to this
day , it was a MY91 Golf GTI G60 bought it from Awsesome in
Staffordshire with very low mileage, the car was like new it had
Air con, healamp washers , ABS Factory sunroof 3door in
schwartz black. It was a monster at the time but very discreet
as this was 96-97 period when ther was not as many G60s
about. The car was also featured in issue 45 autumn 1998 of
'Rabbit' with a few pics and a write up, dig out your old copies
and you will see it. Really pleased with the car but unfortunatly I
then had to sell it.
I ended up with a MY92 J plater Tonado red 8v 3 door it was ok
but nothing after owning the G60. That didn't last long I traded it
for an Immaculate mystic blue Mk3 8V anniversary model. That
was great I had it for a few years and gave trouble free
enjoyable motoring.
At present I own a MY03 Subaru impreza WRX STI in WR Blue
It is a great car and very quick indeed and looks the business.
But I still prefer my ex GTI G60.
The reg of the car was H272 CDM do any of you guys or
girls know of this car, have you seen it at any shows , do you
know the present owner or are you the owner!!
Love to know how the G60 is and speek to the owner.Because I
know a few extra things about the car he or she might not
know ( not bad things)
Cheers for now Warren

Hello Warren, are you still living in Stockport, Cheshire? Just had a quick flick through the database, and as you can guess, the only instance of the registration for your G60 was when you were a member during 1997-1999.
A:
Just cross checked a hunch with Deako about a G60 I knew, & have just found the reg. plate, but it was the wrong car.
Strange - your plate, I must have seen it around, recognise it....

Moved from Stockport to Gatley in 2001.
Good to see my records are still there.
Probably going to go to the manchester meet this month with my brother in his new motor.
He's just bought an immaculate 91 H plate 16v GTI in Oak green.
We can't believe the condition of it. Had a drive the other night still it still pulls like a train its got full service history etc and its totally standard and unmodyfied. The car has been enthusiast owned for most of its life.
Its got me looking through the classifieds section again!!
I'll post some pics of the 16v once I've taken a couple, also of the G60 if i can find them

Interesting
He's probably not in Club GTI though

But what sort of condition would it be in now.
Looks well though with the magnex exhuast and it did sound well, it also had a decat pipe.

Chances are it would be an enthusiast who bought it so it might still be tidy...
A:
Try writing to the DVLA. You risk the price jumping, but you evidently would like it, so it will jump anyway.

I think I'd want it back too, looks lovely!
