Have anything on the slam panel of thier golf that look like a rubber for the bonnet to sit on, but in actual fact is a lock of some sort (ie that a key fits into and turns) with wires coming out of the back?
Not got any pics of it, I'll get some in the morning but here's where it is situated, indicated by the big f*ck off arrow

God knows, like a say it's like a key activated switch, but the wires have been cut.
Maybe a home made imobiliser or something.

my guess its for a old redundant alarm!! most alarms have a key to disarm them but usually its as part of the box with the siren in, it could just be a funky design????
