Tyre Choice???

A&Q about 350Z
Q:

I am after peoples advice and views on what tyre size I should choose for my new alloys.
I would prefer a Euro (stretched) tyre look but am not sure if my alloys are wide enough to carry it off? I have got a set of 7J x 15 ET25 rims that have about a 2.5" deep lip on them. They are going on my Mk2 GTi, any advise?
Any pics of other peoples alloys with suggested tyre sizes fitted would be good too if anyone has time, cheers.

i have 7j wide borbet A's with 195/45's on and they give a nice stretched look but not to much

195/45 is as stretched as you should really go Homer
I really really rate BF Goodrich "profiler" tyres. Rain or Shine they seem to just grip the road and are reasonably priced.
Alot of people run Goodyear F1's which are also a good tyre.
Best bit of advice is to know exactly what you want your tyre for, and how you want it to perform.

Thanks for the advise guys.
The car is a work horse not a show car. it sits in traffic too and from work each day and not much more. I just like to sit in traffic in style!!! haha
Doesn't really matter how grippy or how well the tyres perform to me as I hardly ever reach there limits. Aslong as its round, black and legal it does for me on this car.

Should hopefully get my rims back on Thursday so hoping to get tyres fitted Saturday if I can find some locally cheap enough.
