Depends on how low, how wide and what offset tbh.
But Generally with the correct offset (38 I think) 7x17s with a 30-40mm drop should be ok.

what you mean no rubbing ? could i just change the springs ??

Might be a bit of rubbage if you're 4-5 up and going round a corner.
I'd recommend Springs and shocks.
Done cheap coilovers and done just springs in the past.
Now I'm going to do good shocks, reasonable springs, I never adjusted the coilovers after the 2nd day I had them on properly anyway...

Hello mate - got your PM. Mine are BBS RS301's which are 17x7.5 ET33. It's lowered about 60mm, but you'll get away with about 55mm without arch mods if you dont go for any silly offsets - ie ET30.
