A&Q about 350Z

Ive been thinking that i want a 16v.... now. Im looking for something relatively cheap, as Ive got a budget of about 500.Also Ive been thinking i want one in either white or black if possible, But im not too fussy.
Ive seen a couple on ebay, and would like to know of the two which you think is worth going to have a look at, as ive got no transport and cant travel too far....

Evening,golf man, as a white mk2 owner I would go for the 2nd one because of the history,tax and mot so you could just pay your cash and drive it home which you can't really do with the first one. But do you think it will go for more than 500quid and its a long old train journey to cumbria But as they always say get the best car for your budget

well the first link has lower mileage not a key factor but its nice and its a private sale and seems like a genuine enough sale...only thing is my valver stem seals went at bout 115K so possible that could be same
link no.2 has a lot of main dealer service history but is 150k but that doesnt matter really plus it has nicer alloys. but is being sold by a garage and he seems to have 'bigged it up a lot'
but its got tax an mot which is a big bonus
i think they are both very good cars worth going to see both really
just watch out for usual crappy gears
burning oil once hot
engine mounts etc etc

The only reason i like the first one is because of the low(ish) mileage. I know its got no T+T, but it could be a decent car. The pics look quite good(naive i know) but both cars look rather clean.
So would the 150k not put you off??

Oh one other thing, Is it easy to get the white stripe off the sides? And also the black boot sticker thingy ?

Cheers golfman, 150K with full service history shouldn't be a problem as you do the usual checks,valve stem seals,head gasket,tappets etc. I would leave the factory stuff as it is as you can't buy the rear window surround tape any more and the side stripes are a pretty rare find as so many people remove them over the years. Mine is an 8valve H reg with 134k and was advertised on ebay but the owner ended the auction early when I offered him 800quid

Its far tidier. Find a new drivers seat (£35 or so from flea bay or on here) and your laughing with a stamped service book like that mate.
