Hey, im thinking about selling my mk2 gti and upgrading to a mk3 vr6 (3 door)
Im just wonderin how much a decent one would go for, tried autotrader and ill be looking at about £3000 for a decent one, does that sound about right?
Also how are they to drive? never driven a vr6 but they sure sound great!! anyone that has one could you please list the good/bad points etc.
Oh yeh, is the mpg around 20ish??

My mpg overall is around 25mpg.
£3000 could buy you late model in good nick with average miles.
Highlines are the ones to get ,aircon ,leather etc.
Full service history would be ideal also and there are plenty out there so shop around.
Standard suspension isn`t great so uprated will be a bonus.VRs are not to everyones taste for various reasons.
Try for some sound info on VRs

Don't hold out for a Highline if a well spec'd "normal" VR comes along. As mine has Recaro's and climate in a "normal" VR
