Tyre Sizes?

A&Q about 350Z
Q:

I have a Mk1 Gti cabriolet and it came with some MiM 15" wheels with 195x50x15 tyres. Just picked up some 15" le catellets off a rivage and they have 185x55x15. These tyres are poo and need replacing.
What size should I get and still keep the speedo accurate?
Help as I really wantto put the castellets on as they look beautiful!
Any tyre recommendations would be welcome as well!
Rob

Golfs ran with 185/55R15 and 195/50R15 from factory - 195/50 are better (IMO) and cheaper.
My tyre choice would be (and is!) Goodyear Eagle F1 - £35 each (inc VAT and delivery) from
Hope this helps.

Excellent, was looking at mytyres and someone fits them not far from me.
Thanks!
A:

Have used MyTyres for a while now and have ordered quite a few times with no problems. Takes about a week normally for the tyres to arrive - from Germany.
As a guide, most tyre fitting places will do it for £5-£10 per tyre, including balancing and old carcass disposal.
Good luck!

Would 55's be a lot more comfortable than 50's as the CD player skips all the time at the moment and I drive down a lot of country lanes to get to work?
A:

Not comfier at all, the rolling radius is almost identical.
