Can anyone tell me what wheels were fitted as standard, and which were optional extras on a 1990 gti 8v?

Standard were 14" steels. Optional were all of the alloys from the range, from BBS RAs, Estorils to BBS RMs etc. I did have a brochure for the optional alloys on a 90spec GTI, but sold it for a horrendous amount of money on ebay.

What about a 1989 gti?

Think the 8v still came with steelies (not 100% sure though), and the 16v came with 14" bottletop alloys. On a pre 1990 spec car, 14" BBS RAs were available though as an option.
