My Z is a daily driver so I will probably never have parts that look that nice, but I still love to see well detailed cars. Especially Z's.
Show some more pics when you get em installed.
Lookin good!
Oh yeah, forget about the deck. Let it rot and fall into the ground. You work on that Z. At least you have your priorities straight! lol hehehehehehe

Why didn't you send your strut tubes at the same time? Did you have a local place do them or sent them somewhere?
I like color myself when I get a spare oven I plan on doing my stuff in Ford Light Blue and parts I've polished will be in Translucent Blue. I've been holding off on using my IR lamp on the bigger parts so far but if it fits in an oven I bake my own parts. The biggest thing I've done so far is the Door Seal Plates, that had to go from the upper back corner to the lower front corner on the other side. I had to mount it on a long 2x2" peice of wood and made a heat sheild out of foil. They came out nice. An 8 oz. bottle of dust is cheap and covers an area that is about the same as 2 cans of spray paint! You can save a lot of money by DIY until you get to something like the crossmember and things like bumpers and wheels would be a bitch in a normal oven. But it nice to have your parts done and cooled off in about an hour after baking at 400 degrees IMHO.
Here is an old pair of tie rod end I tested out and did not care about the threads just checking out the colors.
Here are some other pieces I've done while the 1/4 frames was for testing only.
Here are some things I did so far on the 77. You can see the seal plate when the door is opened.
This one has some of the above stuff and a few other parts I've done.

Very nice. Whose TC rods are those.
This whole world smells bad, I'd buy another if I had
back what I paid for another mother@#$%@# in a motorcade
A:
i would have...but right now i have the illuminas package...and later i might do coilovers...so i didn't want to coat em just to ruin it later..they are painted black and it's holding up ok. those are the techno toy tuning tension rods and control arms i made. we almost have the same wheels Cyind. i thought about the DIY...but by the time i had the sand blaster to clean it...and a big enough compressor to run it...and an oven to bake it...and the actual PC machine...and then i doubt i could do as nice as the guy who PC all my stuff...plus i know him pretty well so i get a pretty good deal...
A:
just got done cutting my spacers for the control arms...i waited to do it cause i didn't want to have to keep cuttin for the PC build up.
and this is gonna be driven a lot...def no show car....but i just wanted to do the car the way i wanted...and while i had it apart...i thought i might as well put a nice semi-permanent coating that will look good also.
thanks all for the nice comments!

83Datsun280ZX, The car is a sleeper, kind of let's someone know to hold on to something! hehe... But if they looked under it and saw the 700R4 and C4 IRS or noticed the 2" B&M shifter then they might have known. Turn the key is a dead give away any how. Funny how long Hooker Comp Headers with twin glasspack do that... Heads turn when it fires up and all they see is a little old Datsun sitting there. You have to love a PO that put mega bucks in a car and sold it to you dirt cheap... LOL
Bama16, I think you have the normal Hammers (D shape) or do you have the Fluted Stars (Pie slice shape)? Been a while from the last time I saw your wheels... I have the Fluted Hammers. These are not made anymore. Last time I checked with Centerline they still had three of the centers for a corvette but they wanted a bunch of money to make me one more 16 x 10" rim that I wanted to replace. I'm running 245 x 45's on the back now...
I have the 5-ways for 6 corners (don't need them on the C4) with coil-overs, front only for the 77 and the whole setup for the 76. I order parts for a 280Z and both Ground Control and MSA sent sleaves to fit 240Z. So I'm not sure of what I'll end up with now. I have the complete suspension for the 76 with out using any of my old parts but if I want to keep what I have I need to change to 240Z housings, which kind of bites... I've got a lot of money tied up and now that I have somewhere to work on my cars only to find out thing need to change again suxs...
GT_McCann, everyone need some Tozzzzzzz to play with, that is why I got two of them for now!!! Can't play with one play with the other kind of thing... LOL
