Have you looked in the Classifieds / Parts under engine/drivetrain? Was it someone from there that didn't email you back? You can also place an ad in the WTB section.
But you have to watch for them they go just as fast as they show up most of the times.
Search ebay alot!
Go to the zcca board and look up all the Z Car Clubs you can find start out somewhere clsoe to you and work out. Most of the Clubs post online newsletters and they let local members place adds. You might get lucky.

ANY 75-80 block will do the same and MORE for you. SO just get one of those. They have thicker cylinder walls also. (let the arguments begin, but remember I have proof of my therorys, do YOU?)

like brian (1 fastz) said ANY l28 will do just fine. my friends pulls somewhat like 265 to the wheels on a stock t3 using a NA l28.. shortblock with p90a head.. i even think it is an n42 block
The block will never be the limitation.
it is your heads flow !

The Turbo pistons do have thicker 2nd ringlands, so they should be a bit a stronger if you encounter some momentary detonation.
Also the rings are thinner which supposedly is better at sealing at high rpms.

That is true .. however as i stated, my friend has no problems whatsoever .. and many people dont ...
And the NA engines are widely avialable for some change

Yep, Nissan is all wrong. 1 fast Z knows more than they do, LOL.
Like said, blocks pop up all the time. Heck, I have 2 in my garage right now.
Since you need the cam/head then you might as well get the right block that is tapped for the sensors and the pan that is fitted for the oil return.
You "could" mix and match stuff, but "why"?
